Calling All Doodlers

Notice. Draw. Share.

One of the things I've noticed is that people often start doing something long before they're willing to call themselves that thing.

For example:

A person may spend years writing before calling themselves a writer.

Running before calling themselves a runner.

Weaving before calling themselves a weaver.

And that's okay.

Because the joy was never about being called writer, runner, weaver.

The joy is in the doing
.

Which is why we're not really looking for artists

We're looking for people who draw.

People who notice.

People who create.

People who fill notebooks with ideas.

People who doodle while they're on the phone.

People who sketch in the margins.

People who are willing to have a go.

Simple. Joyful. Meaningful.

Why I created this

A funny thing happened while creating the first I'd Rather Be mugs.

What surprised me wasn't that people liked the doodles.

What surprised me was how strongly they connected with the stories behind them.

The hobbies. The memories. The little rituals that make life richer.

And that got me wondering -

What other doodles might be sitting unseen in notebooks, sketchbooks and desk drawers?

Perhaps the person doodling at the kitchen table has more to contribute than they realise.

And I'd love to meet them.

What we're looking for

We're not looking for perfection. We're looking for authenticity.

- Original hand-drawn artwork.

- A sense of humour, observation or creativity.

- People who enjoy exploring ideas.

- People who are curious about where a doodle might lead.

How it works

1. Express your interest.

2. Discovery Call

3. Create a sample doodle together

4. Join as a Doodle Partner

5. Share in the success.

Doodler Partners receive a share of sales from mugs featuring their designs.
